11street Review: High Heel Sandals From Shurishop

I have been looking high and low for the perfect summer shoes for a long time now. I have a closet full of pretty summer dresses waiting for me to wear them. But like most females I have a area on my body I really don't like too much,my short chubby legs, not to forget to mention I'm only 157 cm tall ( or short).Therefor, I have not been able to wear my dresses yet because it looks quite weird together with flat shoes, I badly needed a pair of heels to rock my dresses!

I have been looking all around Seoul in all the hot shopping spots without even spotting a single pair of heels I want to buy. Either they are weird looking, or their heels are crazy high and impossible for me to wear. I kinda gave up and said to myself "well, maybe I just have to go this summer with my chubby legs and no heels?"

But after remembering I could look online I spend some hours, again thinking I could give up, searching both ebay, european shopping pages, american shopping pages without any luck. For my last try I checked 11street again to see if they had what I need. And guess what!! I found the perfect pair for me.

The pictures taken from their seller.

First of all, I love sandal heels which seems very popular this season (You can see them everywhere in Seoul right now!) and I also love shoes with straps. It got everything in my criteria = staps, heels that are not too hard to walk in, cool detail (red under), easy to match with clothes and of course it will look great with my dresses!

It got delivered very quickly, when the delivery guy called me a almost runned upstairs to the hairdresser that recived my paracels because I were soooo excited to see my new shoes. I kinda felt like a child at christmas eve. I was so excited I even forgot to take photo of my paracel before I ripped it open.

And they were as pretty as in the photoes. So first thing I did when I opened the paracel was to put them on,and take photoes to show to my facebook friends (hoping many would click "like" button because they are so cute!!)

My shoe from the side. They look more white in this photo, but they are beige color. I prefer not having all white because they look more dirty easilly.

View from the back of my shoes. The heels were actually higher than I tought they would be, but because the platform at the front also is high its not that bad when putting them on, still good to wear.

From the top. You can see it has gold inside! Very luxerious feeling right? It's like a combination of party heels and everyday heels. Can be used many different outfits, from casual to more dressed up, maybe a night out with the girls in Hongdae??

From the side again without my weird looking foot.

I'm very pleased with this buy. The shoes will be perfect for me during this summer. And I could also reccomend this kinda shoes for those females out there who are not used to wearing high heels but want to try getting used to it. They are easy to walk in, but still give you that extra hight to make you feel alittle more attractive and give you a boost of self confident which all females could use now and then.

 Purchasing:
Purchasing from this seller was very easy. Just choose model you want to buy ( my shoes are model ATA-3127) and the color if it has options, then chose your size. I paid 42,000 Won total for my pair which is a good price for female shoes. The seller has also so many different shoes to chose from, it actually hard to pick only one pair, but thats the life of a poor student right?
 Shipping:
The shipping was very fast. I recieved it after only few days, think it was two days if I'm not wrong. So I have nothing to complain about the shipping.
 Product:
The product is good! It seems to be of a great quality. And one of the problems I have had before with Korean heels is that they don't fit me right and I cannot wear it. My feet are not too big, but mostly too wide for Korean heels. So I have many times ended up buying heels I cannot wear more than a few hours before they end up in my closet and never see sunlight every again. But these heels actually, suprisingly fit me as a glove. So if you are a western like me with elefant feet I would buy from this seller also.
Will I buy from again?
Yes,yes, yes!! I totally going to save the link for this seller for next time I'm buying high heels here in Korea. Not only is the price and quality good, they can actually fit me! What more can a girl ask for?
What kinda heels will you use this summer???
I will use these!

11Street Review:How To Become Human Unicorn

Hello again dear readers.
Again I have done some internet shopping. This time from Korean online store 11street.
I have always been a hugh fan of  magical creatures, mostly unicorns. Therefor I got the idea while browsing 11street that why not become a human unicorn? It might sound crazy for some, but being a unicorn is one of my dreams, so why not.
To become a unicorn I need a unicorn costume, I need unicorn feet and I wanna be cute like cotton candy. Because it's also spring I want do make my hair pink with some pink hair extensions, which again looks great with a unicorn outfit.
During my browsing I found the seller Sweet Holic that sells animal pajamas. They have pretty much whatever animal you want, and also some other pajamas like unicorn, dragon, dinosaur etc.
So I got really excited when I saw the baby pink unicorn costume. I had to get it!
Look how cute!
I bough it for 29,900 Won, veery cheap! I can just imagine what it would cost back home in Norway. I choose medium size to be sure. I'm 160 cm tall, and these costumes goes after height. Small is from 150-162 cm, medium is 162-175 and large is 175-187 cm. But because I'm very close to the medium size I chose to go for medium, I always become sad when I buy something that is too small.

I bough it and after only 1 day it arrived at my place. So quick! I got very surprised when it arrived so fast, and of course very happy. I could not wait to wear it.

And as I said I also bought matching pink hair extension from Gowoonhair on 11street. This is my second time buying from Gowoonhair because I had a great experience buying from them last time, you can see my last buy from them in my blog also.
My pink extension was originally 99.000 Won, but I got a big discount so the final price was not expensive at all.
My extensions arrived after 3 days after paying, which is also still very fast. I had pink hair back in 2011/2012 but forgot to bring my extensions with me to Korea. And now its spring, and perfect to wear cute pastel colors, I have fallen in love with this seasons trend of pastels. So this is a Must-Have on my spring list.

As they say. pictures say more than 1000 words. So now I will show you guys the photos of the items I have received. Starting with my unicorn pajama.

This is my pajama from the front. I also got matching slippers from the same seller that match my unicorn pajama perfectly.

This is my pajama from the back. It got wings, and a cute tail! First I was worried the tail might be annoying when sleeping, but actually I don't feel it at all, even if I'm the kind of person who sleep on the back. The wings too are okay when sleeping, no problem at all.

From the side.

My attempt to fly with my wings. Didn't really work. Guess I will fly like a pro after some practice, just wait and see!

Cute feet!!

Unicorn head, making me feel like a real unicorn!

Self-cam with my unicorn pajama on while studying. This pajama is so comfortable and perfect when stressed with a lot of schoolwork, guess I'm not the only one who have just been through midterm? Recommended for stressful days indoor!

Or even better, when using other methods of getting rid of stress

Me and my boyfriend with his dinosaur pajama from the same seller, outside eating and drinking at a local restaurant.

Now over to my pink hair extension which I really love alooooot! This section might be some heavy on self-cam, sorry!

These extensions are not only cute together with my pajama, but I have also been using them for my everyday look, when I go outside, or going to my university.

Acting cute, but fail. Who could have known this pink haired girl is actually a 23 year old female?

I must say I'm sorry for my bad picture quality also, these one I took with my cellphone when I was relaxing between doing homeworks. I guess I'm not the only one who had the (bad) habit of taking self-photos while being bored?

But it doesn't stop there. I also took a short video clip with my digital camera, it does not have any sound, but at least you will see more clear what my extensions look like.

Hopefully, the quality will not be to bad. Blogger sometimes makes the quality really bad in videos.

My last photo of me and my extensions is this photo of me and my friend Rebecca, from when we went to Everland some days ago.

The extensions are really easy to use, it took be about 3-4 minutes to apply them. For those who don't know it's clip in extensions which I can put when I wake up and take off before going to bed.

This is how they look like when not being worn. They are quite long, wide and thick. So you don't need many to cover your whole head. It also depends on how much pink you want. On these pictures I'm wearing 4 on the side of my head, two on each side. I blend them together with my brown extensions. I got 6 but I don't need to use all of them at once. 4 covers well enough.

This is how its applied. Simple, and no one can even see it's not real. When I first got my hair I didn't know if its was human hair or not, because I could not read it in Korean, but I just found out its not human hair because I could not curl it, but that's not something I really need to do, so I don't mind. But the hair itself does look real, I would have never guessed its not human hair if I did not try to curl it. Which is a very good sign of course.

This is the end of my picture review and I will I will score overall experience with my 11street shopping this time..

Sweet Holic

Purchasing:

Purchasing was easy, navigating their side and chose right size was no problem at all. 5/5 points
Shipping:
Receiving my product took only 1 day!! So happy with the shipping also. 5/5 points
Product:
The material is quite thick but not too warm. The details are great also, and overall its well designed.
5/5 points.
Will I buy from again?
If I need to buy more animal pajamas I would of course use Sweet Holic again. and it's also great for presents, I might bring some of these home to my friends in Norway during my vacation.

Gowoonhair

Purchasing:
Just as with Sweet Holic I had no problem with buying from Goowonhair, their store is also easy to navigate, and choosing the right options went well also. 5/5 points
Shipping:
It took a little longer than Sweet Holic. But whenever I have bought something online in Korea it has mostly been 3 days waiting time or more. So its still fast compared to other sellers I have used in Korea in the past. Therefor it also get top score even it Sweet Holic was faster. 5/5 points.
Product:
As I said my hair is not human hair, but I could seriously not tell the different between my human hair extensions and these ones. so I got surprised when I noticed they were not real human hair. SO with regarding these are not human hair is of good quality and I have nothing bad to say about them. 5/5 points also.
Will I buy from again?
Yes. This is my second time buying from this seller, and both times I've been pleased with my products. And for those who know me, I love hair, hair is for me the most important accessory I have. So changing it often is important.

Overall experience with 11street has been good. I would recommend others to check out 11street when they have many cheap products with great quality. You can even find same products elsewhere to higher price. So if you wanna save money, and do some fun online shopping go to 11streets webpage. (I'm already addicted, wops)

Care for some Poop-Bread? 동빵

When I first came to Seoul I saw this Place called Dong-Bang with poop shaped bread. Ever since I've really wanted to try it. And Lucky for me the closest Subway station to my Hasukjib, Hoegi station has open a Dong-Bang shop! I've also seen this store in other laces, like Sinchon where I lived in 2010.
They also sell drinks, like coffee and Smoothies. And everything is quite cheap. Even the cute bread is only 500 won.

Even their bag is really, really cute! Mascot with a poo on his head and a happy smiling girl with buns in her hair.

You can choose between many flavors like strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and more. The girl is the vanilla flavor.

The poo is of course chocolate.

If you are like me, and think Dong Bang looks adorable, then I recommend to check out one of their stores if you are in Seoul and feel like giving yourself a cheap delicious treat.

For more info about their locations, meny etc check out their webpage. Its also in English

Fake Hair Buy. Gowoon Hair Review

Let me admit, I'm addicted to wearing fake hair aka hair extensions. For many many years now I have used fake hair to make my hair longer than my natural hair. With my own hair I feel...Naked. And chubby. Maybe sound weird but I do look more fat if my hair is my own lenght. And I'm not blessed with having fast growing hair either. Or it grows fast, to it reach a certain lenght, but after that it stops growing fast.

So for other females like me, hair extensions is a life changer!
But these days I'm getting more lazy before going to school in the morning. Even if it takes like around 5 minutes, maybe a little more to put on my clip-in extensions I'm so sick of doing it every morning. So what was my totally awesome great mavelous idea?
Buy fake ponytail!

I started to look for cheap fake ponytails online, because I'm a very poor student I don't have money to spend on shopping, at least not new hair. But I found a great korean hairshop named Gowoon Hair.

They have many options in both extension, wigs for both female and male, and of course ponytails.
I was looking for something long and with curls and found this one:

The longest and curly ponytail I could find. And the model is cute and look really good with this ponytail. So because of the very cheap price, and great model pictures I decided to buy it.

The colors available for my ponytail. Every wig etc had different options in colors, and this was for the one I bought. If I don't remember wrong mine is in Shine Golden Brown.

And now over to the most interesting part. How does it look on a non-model?Let me show you some pictures of the ponytail on me.

Pic One:

I was lucky that the color matched my hair perfectly!

Pic Two:

As you see, I also bought fake bangs at Dongdaemun. I can't decide if I wanna cut my bangs one more time, or let grow even longer. So I bought fake one so I don't need to cut. And its real human hair, so it looks very natural, and thick!

Would I buy from Gowoon Hair again?
Yes! Their quality on their hair is quite good for such a cheap price. Can not spot that my hair is fake if you don't study it for a long time. Its not super shiny which is the problem with more fake wigs etc.
They also got a gmarket account, so international buyers can also easily buy from them, great right?

Anyone else addicted to fake hair like me???

Hello Kitty Cafe

If  you remember my entry about the Princess Cafe? and like girly places to hang out?I got a new cafe you must add to your "must-visit-list". The Hello Kitty Cafe.

I've seen this cafe many places in Seoul. Sinchon, Hongdae etc.But never actually went there, before now.It was not my idea to go to Hello Kitty Cafe, but actually my boyfriend wanted to go there. So we hurried to when it opned at 11, so we could study there while drinking coffee while its still quiet and few people.

Cute wall decoration beside the restroom

I want this wall in my bedroom. Seriously cute!

Actually, I want these in bedroom also.

The cafe is so pretty and cute. If I were a child I would never leave this place, and even if I'm soon to be 23 years old I feel like I'm 10 again going to this super adorable girly place.

They also sell Hello Kitty things like dolls, clothing, coffee mugs and other random stuff, and not to expensive either.

Our drinks. Mine is Green Tea Latte, which is my favorite! I always buy Green Tea Latte when in out in coffee shops, Can't get enough of it. My boyfriend choose Vanilla Coffee if I'm not wrong.

Want some desserts???
I want to try they Hello Kitty which is formed as hello kitty's face. But It's too cute to be eaten, So I didn't try it. But next time I will. (I hate eating cute things with cute faces etc, so took long time before I wanted to drink my Green Tea Latte, so sad to ruin it right?)

Anyway. Hello Kitty Cafe is worth the visit. Will bring my female friends here someday, very cool place to girly females like me to hang out and talk gossip about everyone and everything. The coffee might be some expensive, but compared to other plain coffeeshops its worth the extra price.

Check out their webpage for more info on their meny etc.

Bling your stuff!~~

I guess most people reading my blog dont know my obsession with sparkeling things, I really love bling! And I've blinged my last 3 cellphones. I have had my Samsung Galaxy S2 for maybe 4 months now. But I have not tried to bling yet,but after this long time without blinging I knew I had to do something about it. So if you are like me, love shining sparkeling things and want to make your cellphone, mp3 player or whatever to look more blinged and fancy, I'm now about to tell you where and how you can do it here in Seoul..

First of, of course you need to buy some bling!

I went to one of my favorite places in Seoul. Dongdaemun! This time I did not go to the shopping malls like I mostly do. But behind the big shopping malls there is a market called Dongdaemun Market, where creative people goes shopping. This place sell mostly fabrics, buttons, lace, zippers or whatever you need for creating your own clothes or whatever you wanna make. But this place is really hugh! It has endless of stores and so easy to get lost. But if having alot of free time, walking around just looking at stuff here is actually quite funny.

I found two stores who sold alot of Swarovski crystals in all different colors, sizes and shapes. I guess there is other stores here also that sell crystals and other things for decorating, but among 1000 fabric stores these two are the onces I could find. For my Swarovski crystals I spent maybe around 40,000 won which is cheap for Swarovski, I love wholesale places like these! And the seller at one of the stores, not the one is this picture but the other store I found even game me discount, and was really kind.

This is what I ended up buying. Clear color crystals, and some with ABshine (Shines different colors according to light, if you know what I mean.Makes it sparkle!) All are round shape, but also bought some hearts also to make it more cute. I like cute stuff.

Now.

What do I do when I have bought the crystals?

First of....Do you wanna bling straight onto your phone? then it will be stuck forever, or very hard to remove. Or do like me, buy a cheap cover for your phone and bling it. I bought a white cover from Gmarket.com for only 2000 won. And you do need glue, I used some superglue I found at Lotte Mart. It worked quite well. I actually by accident almost glued my fingers stuck onto my cover, oucccch. So be careful when using strong glue people! Could be stuck with you cover on your fingers for the rest of your life.

If you use fast drying glue like me, I would reccomend to sort out your crystals first to make it faster to pick up before the glue dry. And don't apply glue at a to big area at the time. Blinging takes along time, but worth it when you are finished!

I would also reccomend to start with your big bling first if you have any, then you get a better idea of how your design will end up looking like. After you have glued your main big crystals on,or whatever you wanna use on your phone, don't need to be crystals, be creative if you want a more fun design!I have in the past used both cute crowns, plastic roses, cross from necklace, blinged chain, Hallo Kitty head and many other things. Just google decoden for inspiration if needed.
After adding those, you can start with your smaller crystals, and work your way around the whole phone slowly to its finished. And I also use very very small crystals to fill in any gaps between bigger onces so the cover is not showing too much underneath.

The end result of my blinging

A shiny new cover for my phone after 4 hours of work!

What do you guys think, would you ever bling your phone also?
