Bling your stuff!~~

I guess most people reading my blog dont know my obsession with sparkeling things, I really love bling! And I've blinged my last 3 cellphones. I have had my Samsung Galaxy S2 for maybe 4 months now. But I have not tried to bling yet,but after this long time without blinging I knew I had to do something about it. So if you are like me, love shining sparkeling things and want to make your cellphone, mp3 player or whatever to look more blinged and fancy, I'm now about to tell you where and how you can do it here in Seoul..

First of, of course you need to buy some bling!

I went to one of my favorite places in Seoul. Dongdaemun! This time I did not go to the shopping malls like I mostly do. But behind the big shopping malls there is a market called Dongdaemun Market, where creative people goes shopping. This place sell mostly fabrics, buttons, lace, zippers or whatever you need for creating your own clothes or whatever you wanna make. But this place is really hugh! It has endless of stores and so easy to get lost. But if having alot of free time, walking around just looking at stuff here is actually quite funny.

I found two stores who sold alot of Swarovski crystals in all different colors, sizes and shapes. I guess there is other stores here also that sell crystals and other things for decorating, but among 1000 fabric stores these two are the onces I could find. For my Swarovski crystals I spent maybe around 40,000 won which is cheap for Swarovski, I love wholesale places like these! And the seller at one of the stores, not the one is this picture but the other store I found even game me discount, and was really kind.

This is what I ended up buying. Clear color crystals, and some with ABshine (Shines different colors according to light, if you know what I mean.Makes it sparkle!) All are round shape, but also bought some hearts also to make it more cute. I like cute stuff.

Now.

What do I do when I have bought the crystals?

First of....Do you wanna bling straight onto your phone? then it will be stuck forever, or very hard to remove. Or do like me, buy a cheap cover for your phone and bling it. I bought a white cover from Gmarket.com for only 2000 won. And you do need glue, I used some superglue I found at Lotte Mart. It worked quite well. I actually by accident almost glued my fingers stuck onto my cover, oucccch. So be careful when using strong glue people! Could be stuck with you cover on your fingers for the rest of your life.

If you use fast drying glue like me, I would reccomend to sort out your crystals first to make it faster to pick up before the glue dry. And don't apply glue at a to big area at the time. Blinging takes along time, but worth it when you are finished!

I would also reccomend to start with your big bling first if you have any, then you get a better idea of how your design will end up looking like. After you have glued your main big crystals on,or whatever you wanna use on your phone, don't need to be crystals, be creative if you want a more fun design!I have in the past used both cute crowns, plastic roses, cross from necklace, blinged chain, Hallo Kitty head and many other things. Just google decoden for inspiration if needed.
After adding those, you can start with your smaller crystals, and work your way around the whole phone slowly to its finished. And I also use very very small crystals to fill in any gaps between bigger onces so the cover is not showing too much underneath.

The end result of my blinging

A shiny new cover for my phone after 4 hours of work!

What do you guys think, would you ever bling your phone also?

Christmas ~~

One month since christmas, omg I'm so far behind in blogging, sorry!!!
So long time since christmas I actually have to ask myself "what did I do in detail?". Thats a good reason to blog more often or what??

Anyway. Over to the main point of this post, talk about my christmas eve 2012!
I spent the day together with my boyfriend in his apartment he is sharing with his brother. But thankfully his brother did not move into the apartment before some days before new years eve, so thats why I got to secretly spend the day at my boyfriends place(you know, going to boyfriends apartment is a big nono here).

We just spend the day with enjoying some foods and a bottle of wine. I had promised my boyfriend to cook for him. But I'm not really good at cooking, so I made the most easy dish ever. Pasta Carbonara. So when I arrived at his place we went to Homeplus together to buy things we needed for cooking, and on our way home we dropped by a bread shop to buy a cake. Every special day can be celebrated with a cute cake in Korea, also christmas! So my chrismas eve was very different than home in Norway. But I'm thankful I had someone to celebrate it with. Even if I had no christmas tree, no presents, no norwegian christmas food. But I did have a good time with my boyfriend, and isn't that what christmas is all about? spending time with someone you care about??

During christmas shopping in Myeongdong. Don't really remember what I bought, maybe I didn't buy anything. Hmmm

Also from Myeongdong. Finding places with christmas decoraton here its not too easy, well..Its some places that has some decorations, like inside coffee shops. But streets etc is not that well decorated. Except Myeongdong. So I've heard from korean friends that Myeongdong is the place couples go for christmas eve, and that they even kiss in public!! (omg right? oooh Korea)

The cute decorated bus I took. The picture is really bad, because the bus was seriously blinged inside! But it was many people on the bus, so it was kinda hard to take a picture showing off the decoration well. And the busdriver wore a santa claus outfit as well.

Ingrid's dog Charlie which spent the christmas at my boyfriends apartment while Ingrid was in Norway. We bought him this cute outfit to wear for christmas eve. So adorable right??

 Our pasta carbonara. So yummy!!

And we drank a bottle of wine, with....tomatoes on the side???

Our cute cake. Penguins. I love penguins!!!!!! So when we saw it we knew it was the perfect cake to buy.

The christmas present from me to my boyfriend. I knitted a scarf in a color I know he likes. And bought two sweaters for us to wear together. But I didnt get anything from him T.T Oh well..

And at last me with my christmas accessories.

Might be some late now but I hope you all had a nice christmas together with family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend!

Nami Island and French Village (Winter Sonata,Beethoven Virus,Secret Garden)

Went to Nami Island with my boyfriend, located just outside Seoul. Took train from trainstation close to my house, took around 45 minutes maybe? Very fast!

Nami Island is known for being the location where the korean drama Winter Sonata was filmed. But I have never seen it before, actually not heard about the drama at all before the day I went to Nami Island. But because of this drama Nami Island is very popular among couples. So I guess this drama is a lovey dovey sweet romantic drama.

The entrance fee is 10,000 won for adults, which include a boat ticket for being transported to the island, and back. Which is a quite ok price. And because I'm a foreigner I got it even cheaper! Yey, I love when these kinda places have cheaper entrance for us non-korean people.

In the background you can also see that they got a bungeejump place for those who dare to try. I'm kinda a chicken and afraid of hights, so for me bungeejumping is something I will never try.

The Island itself if quite cool! Even if I have never watch the drama before I could easilly enjoy going there. The Island has alot of different art, statues, eating places and animals. Actually the perfect place for taking alot of pictures. But this day was so cold, taking my hands out of my jacket pockets was too cold and almost like torture. So therefor I didn't take alot of photoes. But I would love to go back in summer to take as many as possible.

But I did take photo of this adorable squirrel! Only thing that was so cute I had to take out my frozen hands to take photo. And it was so used to humans I could actually pet it and go close without it running away. First time I've actually been able to touch one.

These are all photoes I've got from Nami Island. But if you plan going to Korea you should check out their webpage!  https://www.namisum.com/_ver01/_bbs_iw2000/?link_code=0900 It got pictures, information and everything you need. So if you are a Winter Sonata far or not, its really worth the trip. What a cute little charming Island!

But my outing with my boyfriend didn't stop there. We went to eat  닭갈비which this place is known for. And it was quite awesome. I'm a big fan of Dakgalbi and this place has quite good Dalkgalbi, so be sure to check it out if you go there. While eating we also decided to go checking out the French Village which is also located not far from Nami Island. But still we spent alot of taxi price because we didn't bother to go back to the train station again to then take bus, because there were no bus to the village from the Island. Became more expensive than we wanted.

(Blogger makes video quality so bad! whyy?whyyyy?!)
Of our Dalkgalbi meal. Sorry boyfriend for showing without asking first! But you did say I could upload on facebook, so it means I can do it here also right? hehehe

The French Village. Suppose to look like its French. But well, I don't know. Any french people who can tell me if it actually can look like a town there?
This place is also known for being used as filmset for dramas(talk about kdrama day). Its known for both Beethoven Virus, which I have never seen before. And Secret Garden which I'm currently watching together with my boyfriend. Quite good by the way, should watch it if you havn't allready.

 Famous from Beethoven Virus.

Very pretty. Was also a coffeeshop in second floor above this office from the dramaset.

Christmas tree! I love christmas trees, why can't we just have them all year around?? Makes me happy seeing all that glitter.

And my last picture. Wish I could have taken more photoes here. But the battery on my phone died. But the village itself is very cute. And its also possible to rent some of the buildnings to sleep in. And they have a guesthouse buildning also. Think it would be very beautiful in summer. The village also has european resturant, some gift shops, doll house with old antique dolls, performances, cinema, dress up doom with different cute dressed and national costumes, and many other buildnings to check out.

Also got a webpage if you are interested in going there or curious about this cute village
http://www.pfcamp.com/ Beware it has music. I almost got hear attack when I clicked on their webpage. Hurrhurr, be careful!!

Lotte World...AGAIN

Well...I went to Lotte World again, I think it's my third time going to Lotte World. But I really love amusement parks and fun rides so I can't help but going back there more than once. But the main reason I went there was because I found a coupon I downloaded from their facebook page, which gave me entrance for only 10,000 won which is nothing! So I went there together with my classmate Grace after school. But because we went so late (around 17.00?) we thought we would not be able to ride so many rides, but actually we managed to do 5 rides, walk around alot, eat and of course take too many photoes like females mostly do when they are at these kinda cute places.  My favorite ride is the indoor rollercoaster, so the trip to Lotte World is worth it as long as I can ride it.
But because I've posted photoes from Lotte World many times on my blog, I'm sure most people are bored with reading about it allready. So instead I will be so kind that I will show you all photoes of myself.

On merry-go-around, correct name right? Maybe the world most boring ride, but also maybe the worlds most cutest ride. Could win both catagories on Guinness World Record.
And oh, my hair accessory is nice right? Raindeer horn with bling and bells on them,It was close to Christmas so of course I had to be a raindeer. If you don't know, It's popular wearing head accessories when going to amusement parks here in Korea, all from fun small hats, to animal ears, to big bows. Last time I wore rabbit ears If I'm not wrong

Happy Christmasuuu~
My hips looks big by the way, oh well, could be worse!  People say they loose weight in Korea, I'm not sure how they do, I'm sure I am rather gain weight here.

Looks at my castle, my crib where I hang with my homies. Envy much?
